In my last post, I discussed Font Bundles, and mentioned their sister site, Design Bundles. Today I'm going to be talking about Design Bundles and their array of affordable digital products such as graphics, templates, mug mockups, patterns, illustrations and craft files. Like with Font Bundles, they have up to 96% off RRP and all products are designed by independent designers- meaning you know someone worked really hard to make a product for you to love.
I'm focusing on a mug mockup, and a mug mockup is basically a mug that you can get your logo printed on to. The ones from Design Bundles are so lovely, and I love the calligraphy-type writing that can be put on them. In this deal, you get 10 white mugs with your design/logo/quote on them for £28.81, which translates to £2.88 per mug, which is fantastic value - you can get a plain white mug from Marks and Spencer for £3.20, or a white mug with your own pattern on it for £28.81 for 10 from Design Bundles.
If you were a small business owner, what better way to advertise yourself subliminally than on a mug? Giving prospective customers promotional items (such as mugs) is a sure way to ensure customers have an incentive to come to your shop/buy from you. Any salesperson knows that consumers immediately shut off when approached with an "aggressive selling" technique - think how they sell perfumes in Debenhams or Frasers. However, customers respond differently when they're given something. A mug is a product we all need and love - and giving customers a product they will use has proven to be more effective than giving people a business card. Almost every business card I've ever been given, I've ended up throwing away. But, I still have at least three of those giant Sports Direct mugs sitting in my cupboard. And to show how effective they are - I don't buy a lot of exercise equipment, but when I do, I look in Sports Direct first.
To ensure success with giving away promotional products, you need to ensure they are being given out to the right audience. This means you need to target your product accordingly. For example, I wouldn't be as interested in household accessories as my mum would be, and likewise my mum wouldn't be captured by an advertisement for alcohol as I would be. Giving away promotional products to anyone isn't at all effective and means you could be wasting money by targeting consumers who won't spend any money on your products. Giving branded mugs to loyal customers, vendors, suppliers, key stakeholders and non-competing business owners is always good, as these people actively want to see you succeed and many of these people will profit from you succeeding.
To sum up, giving away branded mugs will always be a way to ensure success - the mugs should reflect positive values about your business - and this process is made even easier with the collection of mug mockups available on Design Bundles.

Hey! Today, I’m talking about fonts - and where to find nice fonts, and I’ve found that Font Bundles (who are a sister site of Design Bundles) have got you covered! Font Bundles have a selection of affordable digital products, such as mug mockups, patterns, illustrations, patterns, craft files and tools to make graphic design so much easier, and Font Bundles specialise solely in fonts.
The amazing thing about the fonts with Font Bundles is that they have so many styles of different fonts available with up to 96% off RRP, plus all of the fonts have been designed by independent designers - meaning you're supporting independent designers and artists with your purchase. The fact that they can come with such massive discounts is huge – as bloggers, we often spend so much money on our blogs that fonts don’t come as a massive priority, yet with how affordable Font Bundles are, it means that you don’t have to neglect the font of your blog.
I'm really picky about fonts, but the collection of script font that Design Bundles has gives me so much variety and room to choose between fonts - loads of modern calligraphy fonts which would be perfect for blog headers and Twitter headers.
As all bloggers know, it is important that we maintain a good brand identity and the eventual hope is that we have an instantly recognisable brand. In the same way that I look at eyeliner and a ponytail and think ‘Ariana Grande’, I would one day like people to look at something in the light-pink shade that I have all over my blog, and think ‘Ashleigh Anne Rose’.
One of the most important things to me is making sure my blog looks pretty and gives off a good impression of my content, which is important for brands who want to work with me and people who read my blog. I want my blog to look nice, so that I can ensure people will want to come back (also it is easier for me to look at if it looks nice)! I have been trying to improve my handwritten calligraphy as I think it looks so good and artistic, and being able to reflect the same changes online is brilliant.
I am the self-confessed worst with computers – I can use things like Word, Excel, Photoshop etc., well enough but I struggle with everything else! I was pleasantly surprised when I seen how easy it was to use Font Bundles – all you have to do is download a font which will come in a .zip folder, and then once the file is unzipped you just install it by clicking on the files and clicking ‘install’. It is so simple and that is one of the things I love about Font Bundles. I definitely am not the most computer literate person out there so it’s really important for me that things are easy to do on a computer, and I can say with certainty that downloading a pretty font is!
Have you ever downloaded a font? Let me know down below! Thanks for reading :)

Hi! I've tried to be a bit more consistent with my blog and blogging in general, however I've actually been quite busy!
I went to Italy in the start of July, and I was over there for my 21st (which was exciting and I couldn't think of anywhere better to spend me being actually 'in my twenties'). I've actually wrote a blog post on my first day in Rome - I plan to write about the four days I was in Rome and then about my time in Milan - and the post for my first day in Rome is here.
When I came back from Rome, it was uncharacteristically warm for Scotland - we don't get much of a summer here so anytime it is sunny, it's treated like a national holiday. And so I spent my next wee while in beer gardens with my boyfriend, having nice days out with my family, having barbecues and working when I was able to pick up shifts.
I came back from Rome on the 19th July - my birthday was on the 14th July - and so I had the following weekend off work to celebrate with my friends in Glasgow. On the Friday night, I went for dinner with my close friends which was lovely. Now that we're all adults - one of my friends has graduated and now works full-time and one lives alone so works a lot - we don't get to see each other all the time, so it was nice to be able to see each other as we don't get to as often as we'd like. I had such a nice night with my friends! On the Saturday, I went for dinner with my mum, my stepdad, my sisters and my two grannies came to surprise me! It was such a nice time and I was so glad I got to see my grannies - one lives in Elgin so I don't get to see her all the time - so it was lovely to see my family! On the Sunday, I was really tired, and went to my grans house to see my other grandparents and Max! Because I was so tired, we just had a really relaxed day and later that night my gran took me to the bingo! (I never won).
My boyfriend still hasn't handed in his dissertation yet - it's not due until the end of this week - so any time I did spend with him was either a reward for getting some of his dissertation done, or a distraction away from his dissertation. He's also moving back down to York at the end of the month - where he's originally from (he was just up in Glasgow for uni) - so I've also been a bit in my feelings about that. Honestly, I have fully came to terms with it now and how it's not an elaborate plot to break up with me, but I'd be lying if I said it hadn't taken me a while to feel okay about it. Now that we've fully discussed how often we're going to see each other when he's away, if and when he plans to come back or move a bit closer to me and just the finer details of long-distance, I feel a lot better about it. I'm also going into my third year at uni, (3/4!!!) so the world will also be my oyster when I graduate.
Last week, I stayed at my mums for a week to look after her cat when she was on holiday, and I love the cat more than anything. He came into my room a lot to sleep with me and just is genuinely so sweet. He's 8 years old - so not as high maintenance as a kitten - which I love. My heart is just filled with love for him :(. I had a job interview last week, and I've been invited to a hiring event, and I also applied for an internship in digital marketing, which I got! I've wanted to work in digital marketing for as long as I can remember and I'm just so excited to start.
It was also my boyfriends grad ball last week and getting all dressed up was just so nice. It was lovely to see him with his friends and people from his uni and it got me so excited for my own grad ball! It was in the Radisson Blu in Glasgow and was the nicest night :) It was also our 8 month anniversary at the start of the month which was nice, we don't really celebrate our anniversaries (we celebrated 6 months, and then we will celebrate a year etc.) but it was nice that we've been together for so long. I can remember texting him on our 1 month anniversary. LOOK AT US NOW.
Relating back to dating long-distance, does anyone have any tips on how to do it? Especially because I'll be so busy this year with uni, interning, trying to keep up with my blog and working? I don't have any worries about it anymore, I would just like some advice from couples who have been through it! :) Thanks for reading!!

12th July 2019
Day 1 in Rome! We got the train from Milan to Rome - which took about four hours! (The time it takes getting the fast train from Glasgow to London). I can't remember exactly what time we got in at, but it must have been early afternoon.
We walked to our hotel from the train station, and we stayed at the King Hotel which was at the top
of the Spanish Steps and near the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and Villa Borghese.

Via del Cappuchini near our hotel. |
Then, we went to a cafe near the Trevi Fountain where my mum, stepdad and sisters all surprised me for my birthday! I had no clue whatsoever they were coming so it was lovely to see them!

I was living my best Lizzie McGuire life. THIS IS WHAT DREAMS ARE MADE OF. |
We walked to the Pantheon after - and the dome here is the largest, unreinforced dome in the world.

The inscription means "Marcus Agrippa, son of Lucius, consul for the third time, built this". |
There's a big hole in the inside of the Pantheon, called the 'oculus', which is 27 feet wide and is the only source of natural light in the Pantheon. The oculus, which is Latin for eye, has been said to represent a sundial.

Spanish steps! The Spanish steps are named as the Spanish square is below - named after the Spanish Embassy. |
Next we went to Ottoviano to go to the Sistine Chapel and went for dinner on the street next to the chapel. I had calamari for dinner and a glass of Coke that was as big as my head.
Sistine Chapel! You weren't able to take pictures in the actual hall, but I never took many pictures regardless. It was just so beautiful and I would highly recommend a trip to the Sistine Chapel if you're ever in Rome!
After seeing the Sistine Chapel, we went to the Trevi Fountain for cocktails. The cocktails weren't fantastic, but it was more for the experience of having cocktails at the Trevi fountain!
Day 2 will be coming soon :) thanks for reading!!
